Discover the history of the Qin Dynasty as you visit the famed Terracotta Army before enjoying a private tour of Xi'an City Wall!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an and head to the world-renowned Terracotta Army, a significant representation of Qin Shi Huang's army, composed of thousands of lifelike sculptures of warriors. The guided tour will last between 2.5 and 3 hours, during which we will address various questions about the emperor's motives for creating this army and any fears he may have had regarding invasions.

After the visit, we will return to downtown Xi'an for a one-hour break at the Daqin Xiaoyan restaurant for a Chinese lunch featuring local cuisine. Following lunch, we will begin our private tour of Xi'an City Wall, built in the 14th century during the Ming dynasty and encompassing approximately 14 kilometres (8.7 miles). The walking tour will last 1.5 hours, during which we will learn about the history of Xi'an and the wall's purpose against invaders.

We will return to your hotel approximately 7.5 hours after pickup.
