Terracotta Army & Xi'an City Wall Private Tour

Discover the history of the Qin Dynasty as you visit the famed Terracotta Army before enjoying a private tour of Xi'an City Wall!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an and head to the world-famous Terracotta Army. This site features thousands of lifelike sculptures of Qin Shi Huang's army, showcasing various faces and poses.

The guided tour of the Terracotta Warriors will last between 2.5 and 3 hours, during which we will explore the emperor's motivations for constructing this army and any fears of invasion he may have had.

Following the Terracotta Warriors, we will return to downtown Xi'an for a one-hour break at the Daqin Xiaoyan restaurant, where you will enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch with various local dishes.

After lunch, we will proceed to our private tour of Xi'an City Wall. This citadel, built in the 14th century during the Ming dynasty, has a perimeter of almost 14 kilometres (8.7 miles). The tour will last 1.5 hours, during which we will discuss the history of Xi'an and its protective wall against invaders.

We will return to your hotel approximately 7.5 hours after pickup.
