Discover the history of the Qin Dynasty as you visit the famed Terracotta Army before enjoying a private tour of Xi'an City Wall!

Description

At the designated time, pickup will be from your hotel in Xi'an as we head to the renowned Terracotta Army. This significant representation of Qin Shi Huang's army features thousands of lifelike sculptures of warriors with varying faces and poses, recognized as the eighth wonder of the world.

The guided tour of the Terracotta Warriors site lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, addressing questions such as the emperor's motives for commissioning this army and concerns about potential invasions.

Following the tour, there will be a one-hour break at the Daqin Xiaoyan restaurant for a Chinese lunch that showcases local dishes.

After lunch, we proceed to the private tour of Xi'an City Wall. This fortification, built in the 14th century during the Ming dynasty, spans almost 14 kilometers (8.7 miles). The one-and-a-half-hour walk along the wall will provide insights into the history of Xi'an and the defensive purposes of the wall against past invasions.

The return to your hotel will occur approximately 7.5 hours after pickup.
