Discover the history of the Qin Dynasty as you visit the famed Terracotta Army before enjoying a private tour of Xi'an City Wall!

Description

Soldiers, horsemen, archers, swordsmen... a powerful and numerous army awaits! At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an, and we'll make our way to the world-famous Terracotta Army.

Considered the eighth wonder of the world, this magnificent depiction of Qin Shi Huang's army is composed of thousands of lifelike sculptures of warriors featuring different faces and poses.

During the guided tour of the Terracotta Warriors site, lasting between 2.5 and 3 hours, we will address your questions regarding the emperor's motives for constructing this army and his fears of invasion.

After exploring the terracotta fighters, we will return to downtown Xi'an for a one-hour break at the Daqin Xiaoyan restaurant, where we'll have a Chinese lunch featuring local gastronomic dishes.

Post-lunch, we’ll proceed with our private tour of Xi'an City Wall. This citadel, constructed in the 14th century during the Ming dynasty, spans nearly 14 kilometers (8.7 miles). As we walk for 1.5 hours along this significant structure, we will discuss its history and purpose in defending against invaders.

After the guided tour, we will return to your hotel approximately 7.5 hours after pickup.
