Khiva Private Tour

We'll meet at the designated time at your hotel in Khiva to start our private tour of the ancient capital of Chorasmia.

We'll first walk to the Itchan Kala quarter, surrounded by stone walls up to 12 meters high. Here we'll admire examples of Central Asian architecture with its mosques, mausoleums, and madrasas while learning about the history of this Uzbek city.

Next, we'll visit the Mohammed Amin Khan Madrasa and its minaret, the largest in Khiva and Central Asia. We will also stop in front of the 19th-century Mohammed Rahimkhan Madrasa and learn about the significance of these historical figures.

The tour will continue through Itchan Kala to see the Kunya Ark and the 18th-century Juma Mosque, the most important mosque in Khiva. Following this, we will visit the Tash-Khovli Palace, known for its decoration in blue and white majolica.

Afterwards, we'll walk through the Pakhlavan Makhmud mausoleum, which includes a crypt and the Islam Khoja Minaret, an imposing structure visible throughout the city.

Our walking tour will last a total of 6 hours and will conclude at this last location.
