Cayo Santa María Cuban History Day Trip

The day begins when we pick you up at the designated time from your hotel in Cayo Santa María, marking the beginning of a trip to explore Santa Clara and Remedios.

Our initial stop will take us to the Sugar Agroindustry Museum, where we will gain insights into the profound impact of the sugar industry in Cuba and its production processes.

Next, we will visit the enchanting town of Remedios, where a guided tour awaits. We will stroll down the cobblestone streets, admire colorful facades, and explore the town's colonial architecture. Remedios is among the oldest settlements in Cuba, founded between 1513 and 1524.

We will also visit a traditional tobacco factory, learning about the Cuban tobacco tradition and observing skilled craftsmen at work.

Upon arrival in Santa Clara, we will visit Che Square, home to the iconic Mausoleum. We will explore the Armored Train Monument, commemorating a pivotal battle in the Cuban Revolution.

After these visits, we will enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our exploration of Santa Clara and immersing ourselves in its vibrant atmosphere.

Concluding the eleven-hour excursion, we will bid you farewell at your hotel in Cayo Santa Maria.
