Cayo Santa María Cuban History Day Trip

The day begins with pickup from your hotel in Cayo Santa María, starting the trip to explore Santa Clara and Remedios.

Our first stop is the Sugar Agroindustry Museum, where we will learn about the history and impact of the sugar industry in Cuba.

Next, we will head to Remedios for a guided tour. We will walk along the cobblestone streets and admire its colonial architecture, learning about its establishment between 1513 and 1524 as one of the oldest settlements in Cuba.

We then visit a traditional tobacco factory to understand the Cuban tobacco tradition and observe skilled artisans at work.

In Santa Clara, we visit Che Square, home to the Mausoleum and the Armored Train Monument, significant to the Cuban Revolution.

After these visits, we will have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to explore Santa Clara's local attractions.

Concluding the eleven-hour excursion, we will return you to your hotel in Cayo Santa Maria.
