Join us on this excursion to Mefou National Park and the Ebogo forest reserve. We'll hang out with the famous chimpanzees of Cameroon and take a boat ride down the Nyong River.

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Yaoundé at 8 am and drive to Mefou National Park, established in 1999 as a wildlife refuge for observing gorillas, chimpanzees, and monkeys in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we will discuss the conservation efforts for these endangered species.

After visiting Mefou, we will proceed to the Ebogo Forest Reserve along the Nyong River. Here, we will board a boat to explore the forest.

On returning to land, we will visit the cocoa fields of Ebogogo, meet the local people, and learn about their customs.

We'll have a traditional-style lunch in the forest, followed by a nature trail walk where we'll see large sapele trees and various bird species.

Finally, we will return by minibus to your hotel in Yaoundé at approximately 4 pm.
