Join us on this excursion to Mefou National Park and the Ebogo forest reserve, where we will interact with the chimpanzees of Cameroon and take a boat ride on the Nyong River.

Cameroon Nature Reserve Tour

Pick-up will be at your hotel in Yaoundé at 8 am for a drive to Mefou National Park, a key wildlife refuge established in 1999. Here, we will have the opportunity to spot gorillas, chimpanzees, and monkeys in their natural habitat and learn about ongoing conservation efforts.

Following our visit to Mefou, we will proceed to the Ebogo Forest Reserve along the Nyong River. A boat ride will allow us to explore the forest thoroughly.

After returning to land, we will visit the cocoa fields of Ebogogo, where we will meet local residents and learn about their traditions.

A traditional-style lunch in the forest will follow, providing a chance to refresh. After lunch, we will walk along a nature trail to observe the impressive sapele trees and various bird species.

We will return by minibus to your hotel in Yaoundé at approximately 4 pm.
