Cashibococha Lagoon Tour

On this excursion to the Cashibococha Lagoon, we’ll visit two ecovillages in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and connect with nature.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa and head to the port of Cashibococha. From there, we’ll board a boat to travel to the community of La Pequeña María.

Upon arrival, you’ll learn how this community has harnessed natural resources to create an eco-sustainable village. We’ll take a one-hour walk through plantations of cocona, mandarin, camu-camu, and other fruit trees. You’ll also learn about the solar panel system that powers the village. There’s an opportunity to try fishing.

Next, enjoy two hours of free time to swim in the tranquil lagoon. Afterward, you’ll have 30 minutes to kayak or paddleboard on the lagoon’s serene waters if you wish.

To end the experience, we’ll admire a sunset over the Cashibococha Lagoon, providing an opportunity for photographs. Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in Pucallpa, wrapping up a five-hour adventure.
