Cashibococha Lagoon Tour

On this excursion to the Cashibococha Lagoon, we will visit two ecovillages in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and connect with nature.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa and head to the port of Cashibococha. From there, we’ll board a boat to the community of La Pequeña María.

Upon arrival, participants will see how the community has harnessed natural resources for an eco-sustainable village. We’ll take a one-hour walk through plantations of cocona, mandarin, camu-camu, and other fruit trees. Additionally, we will learn about the solar panel system powering the village. For those interested, there will be an opportunity to try fishing.

Next, enjoy two hours of free time to swim in the lagoon. Afterward, you’ll have 30 minutes for kayaking or paddleboarding on the lagoon's waters if desired.

To conclude, we will admire the sunset over the Cashibococha Lagoon, perfect for photographs. Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in Pucallpa, completing this five-hour adventure.
