Cashibococha Lagoon Tour

On this excursion to the Cashibococha Lagoon, we will visit two ecovillages in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa and proceed to the port of Cashibococha. We will board a boat to travel to the community of La Pequeña María.

Upon arrival, you will discover how this community has utilized natural resources to create an eco-sustainable village. We will take a one-hour walk through plantations of cocona, mandarin, camu-camu, and other fruit trees. During the walk, you will learn about the solar panel system that powers the village. There is an option to try fishing if interested.

Next, enjoy two hours of free time to swim in the lagoon. Afterward, you will have 30 minutes for kayaking or paddleboarding on the lagoon’s waters if desired.

To conclude, we will admire a sunset over the Cashibococha Lagoon, ideal for capturing photographs. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Pucallpa, completing a five-hour adventure.
