Join us for a half-day adventure at Yarinacocha Lagoon, where you can immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife and plant life of Peru. Additionally, we'll visit a local community, offering an authentic cultural experience!

Tour Overview

Your journey begins with a pickup from your Pucallpa hotel at a time that suits you, followed by a scenic trip to the port of Callao.

Upon arrival, you will board a traditional wooden vessel, known as a peke peke, and set off across Lake Yarinacocha. As you sail, enjoy the stunning Amazonian plant life surrounding you. According to local legend, this lake was created from the tears of a mermaid who fell in love with a human!

Your exploration includes a visit to San Francisco, home to a significant indigenous Shipibo-Conibo community. Here, you will gain insights into their rich culture before heading to Caserío 11 de Agosto to admire their handcrafted goods and traditional attire.

Following this, we will stroll along the camu camu path. The excursion wraps up with a brief visit to the Yarinacocha boulevard before returning you to your hotel in Pucallpa, concluding this enriching 4-hour experience.
