Tour Details
Pickup will be from your hotel in Pucallpa at your preferred time, followed by a trip to the port of Callao.
We will board a traditional wooden boat called a peke peke and sail on Lake Yarinacocha, observing the Amazonian flora. According to legend, this reservoir was formed by the tears of a mermaid in love with a human.
During the trip, we will visit San Francisco, home to the indigenous Shipibo-Conibo populations living by the lake. After learning about their culture, we will go to Caserío 11 de Agosto to view handmade items and traditional clothing.
Next, we will walk along the camu camu route. The excursion will conclude with a brief visit to the boulevard of Yarinacocha and a return to your hotel in Pucallpa, wrapping up this 4-hour tour.
