This remarkable zoo was established to ensure the protection and conservation of the Amazonian wildlife and vegetation native to this part of Peru. It houses a variety of endemic species, including the jaguar, peccary, Central American agouti, and yellow-spotted river turtle, many of which face threats of extinction. Additionally, the park features two lagoons, a museum, and recreational spaces for visitors.
Following your exploration of this stunning natural environment, we will then proceed to the Regional Museum of Pucallpa. Here, you will embark on a guided tour to delve into the cultural heritage and traditions of the key Indigenous groups that have inhabited these valleys.
