Great Slave Lake Ice Fishing Trip

You will be picked up at your hotel in Yellowknife at 11 am and taken to the shores of Great Slave Lake. A brief presentation on using the fishing equipment will be provided. You will then sit comfortably in tents while waiting for bites, a process that requires patience. During the trip, you will learn about local fish species, including salmon, rainbow trout, and pike. At the end of the trip, a light lunch will be served, featuring some of the caught fish and hot drinks. The return to your hotel in Yellowknife will be around 3 pm.

Fishing Licence

Before the activity, you must purchase a fishing license for the Northwest Territories. The fee ranges from 10CAD to 30CAD, depending on your nationality and the season. You can purchase this license on the day of the tour with payment by credit card.
