The Northern Lights of the Northwest Territories offers an opportunity to experience a significant natural phenomenon in Canada through a trip from Yellowknife.
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, participants will be picked up from their hotel in Yellowknife to begin the adventure. As the sun sets over the Northwest Territories, several stops will be made to view the Northern Lights.
Stops will include forests and natural areas, away from light pollution, to observe the Aurora Borealis. Snacks and drinks will be available at each stop. Participants are encouraged to bring camera equipment, and guides will assist in setting up for photography.
The visibility of the northern lights will increase as the trip progresses. Although the Arctic Circle is distant, this location provides a suitable vantage point for experiencing the aurora borealis.
After approximately 4 hours, the tour will conclude with a return to the hotel in Yellowknife.
Tour in Teepees
For an upgraded experience, the tour can be taken in cozy teepees or glass cabins with a 360-degree panoramic view, following the same itinerary. This option includes soup and hot drinks, and the return to the hotel will also occur after 4 hours of the tour.
