Snowshoeing Trip on Great Slave Lake

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Yellowknife and drive to a safe area on the shores of Great Slave Lake - the deepest lake in North America.

After a brief presentation on handling the equipment, we will put on our snowshoes and begin our trek. Walking on ice is a unique experience that you will have to try for yourself!

We will walk along the shores of the lake, using poles and snowshoes to access terrains typically inaccessible. While enjoying the icy landscapes of Great Slave Lake, we may see local wildlife, such as foxes and snow partridges.

If time allows, we will also walk on the frozen surface of Great Slave Lake and explore an ice cave. We conclude our adventure with hot drinks to warm us up.

We will return you to Yellowknife, dropping you at your hotel two hours after picking you up.
