Snowshoeing Trip on Great Slave Lake

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Yellowknife and drive to a safe area on the shores of Great Slave Lake, the deepest lake in North America.

After a brief presentation on equipment handling, we will put on our snowshoes and begin our trek. Walking on ice is a unique experience that is best experienced firsthand.

We will walk along the lake's shores, using poles and snowshoes to access otherwise inaccessible terrains. During this journey, we will enjoy the icy landscapes of the Great Slave Lake while observing local wildlife, including foxes and snow partridges.

If time permits, we will also walk on the frozen surface of Great Slave Lake and explore a nearby ice cave. We conclude our adventure with some delicious hot drinks to warm us up.

We will then take you back to Yellowknife, dropping you at your hotel two hours after the pickup.
