Yellowknife Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Yellowknife at 10 am, we will embark on a panoramic bus tour of the city. Our first stop is the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly, established in 1870. Inside, we will see the deputies' seats and learn about the regional parliament.
Next, we will visit the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Center to explore local flora, fauna, and the history and culture of the region's settlers. We will then proceed to the Diamond Center of Yellowknife to discover how diamonds are mined, cut, and polished in this part of Canada.
We will drive along the Ice Road to the Snow Castle, where you can take a souvenir picture next to this icy monument. Following this, we will stop at the Bush Pilots Monument to learn about its origins and enjoy views across the city.
Our final stop is the Gallery of the Midnight Sun, an arts center that highlights more aspects of local culture. We will conclude the tour by dropping you back off at your hotel in Yellowknife at 1 p.m.
Partial closures
The ice road and the snow castle can only be visited during the winter months.
