Etchmiadzin, Khor Virap & Zvartnots Excursion

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Yerevan and set out to tour the stunning natural landscapes of Armenia.

Our first destination will be Khor Virap, just an hour from the capital. There we'll explore its famous monastery and the view of Mount Ararat. The name Khor Virap means deep dungeon.

Next, we'll proceed to Etchmiadzin to admire its cathedral, a significant 4th-century religious building and the seat of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Then, we'll visit the Zvartnots Cathedral, an ancient circular sanctuary from the 7th century, known for its impressive views.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Yerevan, completing the tour in approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Optional wine-tasting and cooking class

To enhance your experience, you may opt for a wine-tasting and cooking class for an additional fee payable on the day of the tour.

For the wine tasting, we’ll visit the village of Taperakan for a guided tour of a traditional winery with wine samples. The cooking class will take place in a restaurant in Echmiadzin, where you'll participate in an Armenian cooking class and enjoy your dishes.

If you opt for these activities, the total duration of the tour will be approximately six to seven hours.
