Hiking in the Westfjords
After meeting at 10 am at 22 Aðalstræti in Isafjordur, we will board a bus and head west. A 15-minute drive will take us to the Seljalandsdalur valley.
There, we will embark on an hour-long hiking trail to the base of the Þjófatindar peaks. Continuing on our trek, we will reach the mountain pass at the top, where we can enjoy panoramic views of the Westfjords.
After a rest, we'll return along the steep hiking trail towards Hnifsdalur, a small village whose name means "Knife Valley".
In Hnifsdalur, the bus will be waiting to drive us back to Isafjordur, with an estimated drop-off time of around 2 pm.
