After meeting at your selected time in Mávagarður, we will walk down the shore of Isafjordur Bay. At the dock, we will have a brief lesson on handling the kayaks before paddling across the Icelandic waters.

The kayaking session will last two and a half hours on the waters of the Westfjords. During this time, the guide will share interesting facts about Isafjordur and the unique features of this region of Iceland. You will enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.

Watch for the wildlife during the tour; if fortunate, we may observe various sea birds overhead and possibly see seal colonies in the bay.

The kayak tour of Isafjordur will conclude back at the original departure pier.
