Day 1: Yogyakarta – Jombang – Mount Bromo

Your 3-day tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Yogyakarta and transfer to the railway station for a train heading east. Enjoy the journey of around four hours admiring Java's natural landscapes. After arriving at Jombang train station, travel by bus to your accommodation near Mount Bromo. After a meal, spend the rest of the day exploring the area and taking in the views of the volcanoes.

Day 2: Mount Bromo – Penanjakan – Ketapang

Start early with a Jeep ride to Penanjakan for a sunrise view over the Tengger caldera. Experience Mount Bromo up close with a horseback ride around the volcano, ending back at the foothills of Mount Penanjakan. After breakfast, depart for Ketapang, where you will have lunch and the rest of the day to explore the city.

Day 3: Ketapang – Ijen – Gilimanuk (Bali)

Your third day begins with a Jeep ride to the Paltuding Visitor Centre, where you will hike to the Ijen crater, known for its turquoise lake and electric-blue flames. After descending, return to Ketapang for breakfast. Then, take a ferry to Gilimanuk, Bali, with an estimated arrival around noon, although this may vary.
