The tour starts from Yogyakarta to Merapi volcano, known for its 69 eruptions since 1548. As you approach, you will see stunning landscapes and visit a village at the foot of the mountain to learn about life near an active volcano.

Merapi Volcano + Ulen Sentanu Museum (8 hours)

This option follows the same itinerary as the Merapi Volcano tour, followed by a lunch break and a visit to the Ulen Sentanu Museum to learn about the kingdom of Mataram.

Merapi Volcano + Sunrise at Borobudur (12 hours)

Pickup is before sunrise to head to Punthuk Setumbu. After a 20-minute hike to a viewpoint, you will see the sunrise over the Merapi volcano and Borobudur temple. Afterward, visit Borobudur and tour the landscapes of Merapi volcano, followed by a stop at Prambanan temple to explore its interior. A lunch break is provided before returning to Yogyakarta.
