Additionally, the pass includes free access to York Mansion House, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, or Fairfax House. It also provides discounts at selected shops and restaurants. Note that pre-booking is required for some attractions.
How does it work?
The York Pass is valid from the first use at an attraction for a selected duration of 1, 2, or 3 days, ending at 11:59 pm on the first day of use. Passes must be used on consecutive days and allow one-time access to each attraction.
Collecting your York Pass
Collect your York Pass at the Visit York Information Centre, located at 1 Museum Street, open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays. Selection of a specific date is required for purchase, but collection can occur on any day. The pass validity starts from the first use, not the collection date.
Children under 5 years old
Children's York Passes are for those aged 5 to 16 years. Most attractions allow free entry for children under 5, but it's advisable to check the attractions' websites for details.
