On this tour from Whitehorse, we'll travel to Alaska and visit the city of Skagway, exploring a route around Northwest North America.
Description
Pickup will be from your hotel in Whitehorse at the specified time. We will head south to one of the most beautiful areas in the Yukon region. The first stop will be Emerald Lake, where we will explore its shores and enjoy a light snack and drink.
The next stop is the Carcross Desert, the smallest in the world. We will learn about the unique presence of sand dunes in this northern part of Canada.
Afterward, we will arrive in Carcross and continue south towards the border, admiring the White Pass mountain pass as we enter Alaska.
In Skagway, known for its wooden houses from the gold rush era, we will discuss its history while exploring the town. You will have one hour of free time to eat in Skagway before we head back to your hotel in Whitehorse, with an estimated return after approximately 9 hours of activity. Thank you for joining us!
