Wild Yukon & Hot Springs Tour

Enjoy sightings of wild animals in the Yukon Reserve and relax at the Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs during your visit to Whitehorse.

Description

At 1:50 pm, you will be picked up from your hotel in Whitehorse to visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, a prime location to observe wild animals in their natural environment.

After a 30-minute drive, you will arrive at the reserve, home to 12 species of Northern Canadian mammals. This tour offers excellent opportunities for unique wildlife photography.

During your 1.5-hour visit, you may see animals such as wood bison, mountain goats, mule deer, elk, woodland caribou, and muskox. However, sightings cannot be guaranteed due to the animals' unpredictability.

Following the wildlife tour, you will visit Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs for 2 hours. Here, you can enjoy warm baths while taking in views of the Whitehorse landscape. The hot springs maintain a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) year-round, even in temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit), allowing for a relaxing experience at any time of year.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Whitehorse at 7 pm.
