This free tour of Zadar is an ideal introduction to one of the most beautiful cities on the Dalmatian Coast and its significant monuments.

Zadar Free Tour

Upon arrival in Zadar, meet at the Roman Forum square, in front of the Archaeological Museum Zadar, for a free tour highlighting the main attractions of this Croatian city.

The tour lasts an hour and a half, exploring the old town of Zadar while discussing the city’s history and culture in the Dalmatia region. We will begin with intriguing details about the Roman Forum, noted as one of the largest in the eastern Adriatic.

Next, we will visit Five Wells Square, a prominent interest point. Following this, we will walk through Kalelarga to People's Square, close to the Church of St. Donatus, an iconic symbol of Zadar. The tour will also include the notable façade of the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, also known as Zadar Cathedral.

We will proceed to the seafront to experience the Sea Organ, which converts wave energy into music through tubes beneath the steps.

The tour concludes at the Land Gate of Zadar, marking the end of this free tour.
