At the indicated time, we'll meet at Schiena dell’Asino car park to begin this hiking tour around the landscapes of Etna and The Valle del Bove. Along the hike, we'll climb up to 1,970 metres (6,460 feet) above sea level via the Schiena dell’Asino path, one of the easier routes in the Etna Natural Park. You'll learn about the origin of this path's name and much more.

During the ascent, discussions will cover the volcanic lands in eastern Sicily and hidden caves. Upon reaching the crater's highest point, we will admire the Valle del Bove, a stunning landscape of volcanic ash.

After enjoying the views, we will descend, passing a huge black sand canal and Pythagoras Cave, a tunnel created by a lava river. The total duration of the hike is approximately 3-4 hours.
