Ride a camel through the captivating desert of Zagora with this tour that allows you to soak up the light of the stars over the dunes.
Description
Day 1
After meeting in Zagora, the tour begins with a camel ride through the desert. This journey offers views of the arid landscapes and insights into the lifestyle of the nomadic Amazigh people. The camel ride concludes at the haima camp for an overnight stay, where we will enjoy mint tea while watching the sunset. A traditional dinner at the camp follows, accompanied by drumming under a star-filled sky. Overnight accommodations will be in haimas.
Day 2
Participants will wake up to the sunrise over the desert, followed by a comforting breakfast at the camp. The return camel ride to Zagora will start after breakfast, arriving between 8 am and 9 am.
Camps
The overnight stay occurs in a desert camp. Water is not included and costs between 1EUR and 2EUR per 1.5-liter bottle. You can choose between 2 types of accommodation: the standard camp, accommodating up to 5 people with common toilets and showers, and the superior camp, accommodating up to 4 people with private bathrooms.
