Ride a camel through the captivating desert of Zagora with this tour that allows you to soak up the light of the stars over the dunes. An experience you'll never forget!
Description
Day 1
Once we meet up in Zagora, we'll start our tour with a camel ride through the desert. During this journey, we will experience the vast landscapes and the ways of life of the nomadic Amazigh people.
Our camel ride ends at the haima camp where we'll spend the night, enjoying mint tea while observing the sunset. Afterward, we will have a traditional dinner served at the camp. The clear night sky, illuminated by stars, will provide a memorable backdrop as we listen to drumming.
You will rest in your haima, embracing the ambiance of the desert night.
Day 2
We will wake up to the sun rise over the desert. After breakfast in our camp, we'll ride back on the camels to Zagora, arriving between 8 am and 9 am.
Camps
The overnight stay in the desert will take place in a camp of haima tents. Note that water at the camp costs between 1EUR and 2EUR for a 1.5-liter bottle.
You can choose between 2 types of accommodation:
The standard camp has shared toilets and showers. Each haima tent accommodates up to 5 people but is reserved for couples only.
The superior camp offers private bathrooms in the haima tents.
The standard and superior camps are distinct from each other.
Important
Children 5-11 years old must ride with an accompanying adult on the same camel.
