Description
Day 1
Upon arrival in Zagora, the tour begins with a camel ride through the desert. This journey offers insights into the arid landscapes of North Africa and the traditions of the nomadic Amazigh people.
The ride concludes at the haima camp for an overnight stay, where guests will enjoy mint tea while observing the sunset over the desert. After a traditional dinner at the camp, participants can gaze at the star-filled sky, enhanced by a drumming performance. Guests will rest in their haimas.
Day 2
Guests will wake up to witness the sunrise over the desert, with changing hues in the landscape. After a breakfast in the camp, the return camel ride to Zagora starts, arriving between 8 am and 9 am.
Camps
Overnight stays are in a desert camp. Water is not included and costs between 1EUR and 2EUR per 1.5-liter bottle.
Booking options include 2 types of accommodation:
The standard camp holds a maximum of 5 people with shared toilets and showers.
The superior camp accommodates a maximum of 4 people with private bathrooms.
In both cases, one tent per couple is provided, ensuring privacy.
Important
Children 5-11 years old must ride with an accompanying adult on the same camel.
