Tour Highlights
The tour meets at the indicated time in Ban Jela?i? square, from where we'll begin our tour of the scene of the Croatian War of Independence, which occurred between 1991 and 1995, ending the former Yugoslavia.
For a little over two hours, we'll tour the streets of Zagreb, exploring the consequences of the war on the civil population. We'll visit the areas most affected by the bombardments and discover new buildings where schools, hospitals, and houses once stood.
We'll explore the underground tunnels from the Second World War, experiencing a return to mid-20th century Croatia. We'll learn about their historical use as we navigate the dark galleries they form today.
After several hours of learning about the Croatian War of Independence and its impact on Zagreb, our tour will conclude.
