Trakoš?an Castle & Varaždin Tour

After hotel pickup in Zagreb, we will head north for approximately 90 minutes to our first stop: Trakoš?an Castle, a 13th-century fortress set in a lush forest overlooking a lake, near the Croatian border with Slovenia. Inside the castle, we will learn about the history of the Draškovi? family.

Next, we will continue to Varaždin, a historic city that was the capital of Croatia in the 18th century, known as the "Baroque city of flowers and music."

You will have free time to explore the scenic historic centre at your own pace, known as the "Vienna of Croatia" by art historians. Admire the baroque architecture and enjoy the local cuisine in the city centre.

After visiting Varaždin, we will return to Zagreb, concluding the experience at your hotel, approximately 8 hours later.
