North Zanzibar Day Trip

At 9 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Zanzibar and head north to the village of Nungwi. After about an hour and a half drive, we'll arrive at this town rich in history and culture, featuring some of the best beaches in Zanzibar. We'll visit the fish market for our first contact with Nungwi culture.

After experiencing the hustle and bustle of the Nungwi fish market, we'll visit the Marani Natural Aquarium to interact with endangered sea turtles and various fish. We'll also swim in the aquarium waters and get up close to the turtles.

We'll return to the mainland and relax on the beaches of Nungwi. Enjoy strolling along the white sand, swimming in the clear waters, or sunbathing among palm trees.

After building up an appetite, we'll stop at a local restaurant for a traditional-style meal with seafood, rice, and vegetables. Once refreshed, we'll return to your hotel, with an estimated arrival time of 5 pm.
