Want to know why Zanzibar is known as the spice island? Find out for yourself on this aromatic tour for the senses, where you'll taste tropical fruits and other Tanzanian delicacies.

Discover the Famous Spices of Zanzibar

After pickup from your Zanzibar hotel, we will head north into the Masingini forest. After half an hour, we'll make our first stop at a spice plantation, where we will learn about the cultivation of these popular condiments and their properties. We'll try Tanzanian delicacies including vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and coriander.

We will also taste various exotic tropical fruits such as rambutan, durian, jackfruit, and soursop. You'll experience their unique flavors during the tour.
