If you're a local foodie while traveling, this Stone Town food tour is a must! We'll stroll through a World Heritage Site neighborhood and taste various traditional delicacies from Zanzibar.
Stone Town Food Tour
At 6 pm we'll meet next to the Old Fort of Zanzibar and start exploring Stone Town, the oldest part of Zanzibar City. We will first head to Darajani Market, where locals shop for their meals, experiencing the vibrant environment of this bazaar.
Afterwards, we'll visit a restaurant to enjoy a soft drink or local beer while watching the sunset.
As night falls, we'll continue through the streets of Stone Town, which is recognized as a World Heritage Site and is one of the best preserved Swahili trading towns in West Africa.
The route will lead us to Forodhani Park, known for its popular street food market. You will enjoy a homemade soup and shawarma, along with sugarcane juice, spiced tea, or coffee.
We'll conclude the tour at 9 pm back at the starting point.
