We'll pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar at the selected time. From there, we'll walk to the center of the capital of Zanzibar to see some of its most important monuments.

The first stop will be at the Old Fort, built by the Omanis in 1689 to defend against the Portuguese. Next to this fortress is the House of Wonders, known for its stunning wooden doors, intricately carved with inscriptions from the Quran. Interestingly, it was the first building on the island to have electricity.

Next, we will visit the old Sultan's Palace, which currently serves as a museum about the royal family of Zanzibar, showcasing a stunning palatial building. We will also explore the Hamamni Persian Baths, a testament to the historical empire that shaped Stone Town.

Continuing the tour, we will delve into the Darajani market, essential for understanding the history of the city. As our guided tour nears its end, we'll visit the house where Freddy Mercury was born.

Finally, we will pause outside the Christ Church, one of the most significant monuments in the historic center, representing one of the last remnants of Stone Town from the 1860s. Here, we will learn about the poignant history related to the region's slaves.

We will conclude the guided tour of Stone Town after three hours and return you to your hotel.
