Tour of Jozani National Park

On this excursion to the tropical Jozani National Park, we will observe Zanzibar's famous red colobus monkeys in their natural habitat.

Tour Details

This adventure includes pickup from your hotel at the specified time. We will travel to the Jozani National Park, the only existing refuge for the red colobus monkeys. Upon arrival, we will embark on a hiking trail to explore the forest and learn about the wildlife and flora present during our walk. Common tree and plant types include red mahogany, oil and raffia palms, sycamores, ferns, and eucalyptus. You will have the opportunity to photograph the red colobus monkeys, an endangered species. The tour concludes after approximately 3 hours of hiking, returning to the starting point with plenty of pictures taken.
