Tour Details
The tour begins at the Goya monument in Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, featuring La Lonja, a 16th-century Aragonese Renaissance-style building, and the Ebro River. Next, we visit the Museum of the Roman Forum in Plaza de la Seo to explore Roman remnants of Caesaraugusta, along with La Seo Cathedral and the Wall of the Parroquieta, designated a World Heritage Site.
We will stroll through the historic centre to reveal charming spots like the Casa del Deán. Following this, we will stop at the Roman Theatre and then head to El Tubo, known for its tapas; recommendations will be provided. We continue to Calle Alfonso I and the passage of the "Ciclón," maintained since the 19th century.
At Plaza del Pilar, one of Europe's largest pedestrian squares, we will see the Town Hall, the Fountain of Hispanidad, and the Cathedral-Basilica of Nuestra Señora. We'll also visit the Church of San Juan de los Panetes, Roman walls, the monument to Caesar Augustus, and the Central Market. The Torreón de la Zuda exemplifies the city’s Muslim heritage. The tour concludes at Plaza de San Felipe, where we will share recommendations for further exploration.
