Tour Details
We'll start our free tour at the Goya monument within Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Pilar. We'll appreciate La Lonja, an Aragonese Renaissance-style building from the first half of the 16th century. From here, we'll admire the Ebro River.
Next, we'll visit the Museum of the Roman Forum in Plaza de la Seo, where Roman remains of Caesaraugusta are found. We'll see one of the two Cathedrals in Zaragoza, La Seo, also known as Catedral de San Salvador, and the Wall of the Parroquieta, a World Heritage Site.
We’ll wander through the narrow streets of the historic centre, discovering picturesque corners like the Casa del Deán. Our next stop is the Roman Theatre, an architectural marvel, followed by El Tubo, the tapas area where we’ll provide recommended tapas. We will cross Calle Alfonso I and enter the 19th-century passage of the "Ciclón."
Welcome to Plaza del Pilar, one of the largest pedestrian squares in Europe! Here, we’ll see the Town Hall, the Fountain of Hispanidad, and the monumental Cathedral-Basilica of Nuestra Señora.
Additionally, we'll visit the Church of San Juan de los Panetes, the Roman walls, the monument to Caesar Augustus, and the Central Market. Zaragoza, known as the 'City of the Four Cultures,' showcases the city’s diverse heritage, including the Torreón de la Zuda that reflects its Muslim legacy. We will conclude our tour at the Plaza de San Felipe and provide recommendations for must-see places.
