At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and head to the sea turtle sanctuary in the north of the city.

Upon arrival, you'll learn about the sea turtles' life cycle, the threats contributing to their endangered status, and the importance of conservation to protect other marine animals from extinction.

Afterwards, we will discover how the eggs are collected and protected, and how the hatchlings are cared for to thrive in the wild. Sea turtles have existed for over 100 million years.

Next, we'll take several baby sea turtles out of their nest and leave them to rest in containers. Once they are active, we will take them to the shore to release them and watch them return to the water.

After the release, we will return to the centre of Zihuatanejo and take you back to your hotel 4 hours after departure.
