Every year, hundreds of humpback whales travel thousands of miles to reach the warm waters of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo for two essential moments in their life cycle: giving birth and searching for a mate.
Our trained guides are connected to a whale-watching network, allowing them to collaborate and coordinate sightings for the best possible experience.
This is a 3-hour whale search, led by certified captains. You may witness competing pods of adult males and females, as well as mothers with calves, sometimes accompanied by an escort whale. It’s a relaxing and awe-inspiring tour. We also keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles, and mobula rays.
