Las Nubes Waterfalls Tour

At 4 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas and embark on a four and a half hour drive to the Las Nubes Waterfalls. Upon arrival, you will have 40 minutes of free time to have breakfast.

The Las Nubes Waterfalls are situated in the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve, surrounded by Madrean pine-oak woodlands. As we explore the park, we will admire various waterfalls, including Las Caiditas, El Respiradero, and Las Golondrinas.

Next, we will venture into the Lacandon jungle and cross a suspension bridge 150 metres above sea level, offering views of the turquoise-blue waterfalls. The mist created by the falls is the reason behind the area's name, Las Nubes, or "The Clouds."

After exploring, you can enjoy a dip in the Santo Domingo River, followed by 40 minutes for lunch before we return to San Cristóbal, arriving at approximately 9 pm.
