Las Nubes Waterfalls Tour

At 4 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas and set off on a four and a half hour drive to the Las Nubes Waterfalls. Once there, you'll have 40 minutes of free time to have breakfast. The waterfalls are located in the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve amidst extensive Madrean pine-oak woodlands. While walking through the park, you'll admire several waterfalls including Las Caiditas, El Respiradero, and Las Golondrinas.

Next, we'll explore the Lacandon jungle and climb a suspension bridge 150 metres above sea level, offering a view of the turquoise-blue waterfalls. This area is named Las Nubes, or "The Clouds," due to the mist created by the falls hitting the rocks.

Afterwards, you can enjoy a dip in the Santo Domingo River. You'll then have 40 minutes of free time for lunch before we return to San Cristóbal, where we will arrive at 9 pm.
