Rancho Nuevo & El Arcotete Tour

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas and set off on our tour of two unique natural spots: Rancho Nuevo Ecopark and El Arcotete.

In just 20 minutes we'll arrive at the Rancho Nuevo Ecotourism Park, where you can enjoy a view of conifer-lined trails. During our tour of the ecopark, we'll visit caves discovered in 1547, with a gallery stretching more than 10 kilometres underground, featuring stalactites and stalagmites. We'll walk along a 750-metre long walkway while learning about the origins of this rock formation.

After exploring the caves, you'll have 40 minutes free time to see more of the area at your leisure. We will then travel to the El Arcotete Ecotourism Park, characterized by its pine, cypress, and oak trees.

Here, we'll discover the famous 50-metre-high limestone arch over the Fogótico River. You may spot the caves above the arch and admire their unusual shapes.

At the end of the four-hour tour, we'll take you back to your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas.
