Rancho Nuevo & El Arcotete Tour

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas and set off on our tour of two unique natural spots: the Rancho Nuevo Ecopark and El Arcotete.

In just 20 minutes we'll arrive at the Rancho Nuevo Ecotourism Park, where we will enjoy views of conifer-lined trails. During our visit, we will explore magnificent caves discovered in 1547, featuring a gallery that stretches more than 10 kilometers underground, full of stalactites and stalagmites. We’ll walk along a 750-meter walkway while learning about the origins of this rock formation.

After the caves, you'll have 40 minutes of free time to explore the area at your leisure. We will then proceed to the El Arcotete Ecotourism Park, characterized by pines, cypresses, and oaks.

Here, we will discover the famous 50-meter-high limestone arch over the Fogótico River. Observing closely, you can spot impressive caves above the arch and admire their shapes.

At the end of the four-hour tour, we will return you to your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
