San Cristobal de las Casas Private Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas at a time of your choice for a tour of one of the Magical Towns of Chiapas.

We will navigate its cobblestone streets while learning about the history of the foundation of the city in 1528 by Diego de Mazariegos with the assistance of Mexica, Tlaxcalteca, and Mayan people. We will stop to admire the church of Carmen and its 17th-century arch, an example of Chiapas Mudejar art.

Next, we will visit the 31 de Marzo square, a central location in the city. Here stands the neoclassical building of MUSAC, which compiles and displays the cultural legacy of San Cristobal de las Casas.

Nearby is the San Cristobal Martyr's Cathedral, emblematic of the municipality. We will admire its façade featuring baroque, Mudejar, and neoclassical elements, and its grand decoration of motifs made in mortar.

After a three-hour tour, we will conclude the visit and take you back to your hotel.
