Sumidero Canyon & Cristo de Chiapas Viewpoints + Zoomat Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas and set off for the Sumidero Canyon for an unforgettable tour of its viewpoints.

We'll visit the six viewpoints of Sumidero Canyon National Park: La Ceiba, El Roblar, Tepehuaje, Los Chiapa, La Coyota, and La Atalaya. All of them offer exceptional views of this natural gorge. During the tour, we may see spider monkeys, hawks, and pelicans.

Next, we'll visit the Miguel Alvarez del Toro Zoo or Zoomat, which is home to dozens of species native to Chiapas, including the black jaguar, quetzal, waders, and tapirs.

Afterwards, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch before we continue our journey to Cristo de Chiapas, a 62-metre-tall monument in the shape of a cross. From there, we will enjoy views of Tuxtla Gutierrez.

Finally, we'll make our way back to your hotel in San Cristobal, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
