Excursion to Lucerne + Yacht Tour

On this trip to Lucerne from Zurich, you'll discover the historic centre of this scenic city and enjoy a yacht tour around Lake Lucerne.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the Sihlquai Bus Station parking lot at the scheduled time before heading to Lucerne. During the journey, learn about the history of the Swiss countryside. Upon arrival, you will receive your boat ticket and be informed about the rendezvous time and location. You will then have 6 hours of free time to explore Lucerne.

Recommended activities include visiting the banks of the Reuss River and crossing the iconic Kapellbrücke, the oldest wooden bridge in Europe. Enjoy local Swiss cuisine during your free time. At the designated time on your ticket, you will embark on a yacht ride around Lake Lucerne, lasting one hour, with an audio guide in English highlighting the lakeshore and surrounding landscapes.

After the yacht ride, you can explore other areas of Lucerne, including the Lion Monument, carved by Danish artist Bertel Thorvaldsen in the 19th century.

We will reconvene in central Lucerne for the return journey to Zurich, concluding the trip after 9.5 hours.
