Grindelwald & Interlaken Day Trip Itinerary

After meeting your guide at the Silhquai Bus Terminal in central Zurich, you'll embark on your tour through the Bernese Oberland. The itinerary includes driving through Lucerne before reaching Interlaken, located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. A brief bus tour in Interlaken will introduce you to the main sights before proceeding to Grindelwald, known as the Glacier Village.

Upon arrival in Grindelwald, you will receive your train tickets for the return trip to Interlaken, along with information about train station locations and timetables. You will have three hours of free time to explore Grindelwald, with recommendations to take the cable car to Mount First for views over 7,100 feet (2,100 metres). You can also visit traditional shops and enjoy local delicacies.

Make your way to Grindelwald train station to catch the train back to Interlaken, a journey of 36 minutes through beautiful landscapes and Alpine villages. Once in Interlaken, enjoy another two hours of free time for shopping, a boat cruise on Lake Brienz, or a cable car ride to Harder Kulm for panoramic views.

At the end of the day, meet your guide in Interlaken for the return bus journey to Zurich.

There will be no guide during your free time in Grindelwald and Interlaken or during the train journey from Grindelwald to Interlaken.
