Grindelwald & Interlaken Day Trip Itinerary

After meeting your guide at the Silhquai Bus Terminal parking lot in central Zurich, you'll embark on your tour through the Bernese Oberland. You'll drive through Lucerne on your way to Interlaken, situated between lakes Thun and Brienz, with a brief bus tour of the main sights before heading to Grindelwald.

Upon arrival in Grindelwald, your guide will provide train tickets for your return journey to Interlaken, along with information about train station locations and timetables. You will have three hours of free time to explore Grindelwald. Consider taking the cable car to Mount First for views of the Swiss Alps or visit local handicraft shops and enjoy a typical lunch.

At the designated time, proceed to Grindelwald train station to catch the train back to Interlaken, which takes 36 minutes. You will travel through natural landscapes and pass charming Alpine villages.

Upon reaching Interlaken, you will have another two hours for shopping in watch and chocolate shops, a boat cruise on Lake Brienz, or taking a cable car to Harder Kulm for sweeping views.

At the end of the day, meet your guide in Interlaken for the return bus journey to Zurich.

This tour is partially guided. The guide will accompany you from Zurich to Grindelwald and from Interlaken to Zurich. There will be no guide during free time in Grindelwald and Interlaken or on the train journey, but tickets and a booklet with information will be provided.
