Mount Titlis Day Trip

On the morning of your tour, you will depart from Zurich towards Lucerne. A brief introduction drive will showcase this lakeside Swiss city, including its important monuments, followed by about one hour of free time to explore the historic center or have lunch. Next, you will travel to Engelberg, a village and mountain resort in central Switzerland, where you will board the Titlis Rotair. This panoramic cable car rotates during the ascent, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding Alpine landscapes.

After a 40-minute cable car ride, you will reach the peak of Mount Titlis at over 10,600 feet (3,238 m). You will have approximately two hours of free time to enjoy various activities available at the mountain. After a day of adventure, you will return to Engelberg and then make your way back to Zurich.

What is there to do at Mount Titlis?

At the summit of Mount Titlis, you can participate in the following activities, all included in your ticket:

Titlis Cliff Walk: Europe’s highest suspension bridge at around 10,000 feet (3,000 m) above sea level, offering views over the glacier and the Uri Alps.Ice Flyer: A chair lift that provides views over the glaciers of Mount Titlis.Glacier Cave: A 500-foot-long (150 m) walkway carved below the glacier surface.Glacier Park: A snow fun zone for sledding and snow tubing.
