Rhine Falls Half-Day Trip
Depart from Zurich at the scheduled time and travel into northern Switzerland's landscapes. After a 40-minute drive through vineyards and villages, make your first stop at Laufen Castle, a Medieval fortress offering views of the Rhine Falls. At 150 metres (490 ft) wide and 23 metres (75 ft) high, the Rhine Falls is Europe's largest waterfall and a key tourist attraction.
Enjoy approximately one hour of free time to explore Rhine Falls and participate in available activities, with insights into their formation.
After your visit, the return journey to Zurich includes a drive through the town of Schaffhausen to view the 16th-century Munot Fortress, followed by a brief drive through Germany before returning to Zurich.
Waterfalls Cruise
In the summer, an optional boat trip through the Rhine Falls is available. Ticket prices are CHF10 for adults, CHF5 for children aged 6 to 15 years, and free for children under 6. Note that the boat entrance is not accessible for baby prams or those with reduced mobility.
