Tour Overview
We commence our exploration of Zurich and its surroundings at the Sihlquai bus terminal, where we hop on our transportation, heading directly into the heart of the city.
On our route, we'll admire the elegant architecture of the Swiss National Museum, inaugurated in the 1800s and characterized by its medieval aesthetics. Traveling along Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world’s priciest shopping avenues, we will arrive in the historic district of Zurich, where an enjoyable walking tour will unfold, allowing us to appreciate the magnificent monuments first-hand. Among these, you will find the iconic St. Peter's Church, renowned for having the largest clock face in Europe.
Following our visit to the old town, we will reunite with our bus for a crossing over the Quaibrücke bridge spanning the Limmat River. Once across, we'll encounter key landmarks, including the impressive Zurich Opera House. Our next destination is the port of Meilen, where we’ll board a ferry that will glide across the Zürichsee, Zurich’s expansive and beautiful lake. In just 10 minutes, we will arrive at the charming town of Horgen.
Our journey continues with an exhilarating cable car ascent to the Felsenegg viewpoint. From this vantage point, you will revel in magnificent views of the Zurich skyline, the stunning lake, and the breathtaking Alpine range. After taking the cable car back down, we will return by bus to the Sihlquai parking area.
