Zurich Guided Tour + Boat Ride

On this tour of Zurich, we will experience a bus and walking tour of the city, along with a boat ride on Zürichsee Lake.

Description

We will meet at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot to start the full tour of Zurich combining both walking and bus travel.

The tour begins with a panoramic bus tour, passing notable sites such as the National Museum, the shopping street of Bahnhofstrasse, and the financial centre. A stop at the Enge Gate will allow for photos of the Zürichsee Gate, followed by a visit to the Opera Theatre.

We will then explore the university neighbourhood, including the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the University of Zurich. This portion includes views of luxurious mansions on Zürichberg Hill and the Kunsthaus, a major Swiss art museum.

Next, we will proceed with a walking tour of the historic centre, highlighting the largest clock face in Europe at the Peterkirche Church steeple, along with the City Hall, Grossmünster, and Fraumünster churches.

After the guided tour, you will have free time for a boat tour on Zürichsee Lake. This hour-long tour offers views of villas, mansions, and lakeside baths. The boat tour concludes at Bürkliplatz Square, and after 3 hours and 45 minutes total, we will reconvene at the meeting point for farewells.
