You'll enjoy the landscapes of Argentina's Chaco region on this horseback ride through the Estancia San Rafael, a private nature reserve just outside Resistencia.

Horseback Riding at San Rafael Estate

We'll meet at 9:30 am at Estancia San Rafael, where ranch staff will provide short horse riding training. After this briefing, we'll begin our ride through the ranch's green surroundings, traversing extensive pastures in the native nature reserve.

This equestrian route, of medium difficulty, will cover between 6 and 8 kilometres (3.7 and 5 miles), where riders will learn about the endemic fauna and flora of the province of Chaco. The stunning wild landscapes of this northern Argentine region will be highlighted during the ride.

We'll follow different equestrian trails and learn about the origins and historical evolution of the San Rafael ranch, which is among the most important private nature reserves in the region.

Finally, between 10:15 am and 10:35 am, we'll conclude the ride and return to the meeting point.

Pickup at the hotel

If preferred, you can book a hotel pickup in Resistencia between 8:20 am and 8:30 am. The horseback ride will start at 9:30 am. After the experience, we will return to your hotel, arriving between 11 am and 11:30 am.
