Finisterre & Costa da Morte Day Trip
We'll meet at the indicated time in the Praza de Pontevedra, in the centre of A Coruña, ready to start our day trip to Finisterre and the Costa da Morte. Are you ready to spend a day exploring the Galician coast?
The first stop of the trip will be at the Cabo Vilán lighthouse, where we'll learn about the legends and shipwrecks associated with this site.
Next, we will visit the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca in Muxía, an important pilgrimage site believed to be the End of the Earth, with connections to Galician sailors and the Celts.
Our journey will continue to Cape Finisterre, where we will uncover stories of naval battles and enjoy the spectacular views.
We will reach the village of Finisterre, allowing free time for lunch and to sample the local cuisine. After dining, we will visit the Ézaro Waterfall, known for its unique features in Europe, as we walk along its footbridge.
As the final highlight of our Costa da Morte tour, we will see the Hórreo de Carnota, one of the largest in the world.
We will then return to A Coruña after 9.5 hours of exploring.
