Las Catedrales & Lugo Beach Tour

On this tour from La Coruña, we'll discover the beach of Las Catedrales, Lugo, and Ribadeo. We'll walk through some of the notable places in Galicia.

Description

We'll meet in the morning at the square of Pontevedra to head towards Lugo, an hour's drive from La Coruña.

First, we'll take a guided tour of the historic centre of Lugo for one hour. We'll explore its famous city walls and the cathedral of Santa Maria, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing various architectural styles.

After touring Lugo, we'll proceed to Ribadeo. Here, we’ll explore the streets and learn about Galician migration to Latin America, observing the Indian houses that reflect this history.

Next, we will visit the beach of Las Catedrales, recognized for its stunning beauty. As we walk along its fine white sand, we’ll admire the rock formations which resemble Gothic cathedrals.

Finally, we'll return to the bus for the trip back to La Coruña, completing the excursion after 9.5 hours.
