Las Catedrales & Lugo Beach Tour

On this tour from La Coruña, we'll discover the beach of Las Catedrales, Lugo, and Ribadeo, walking through some of Galicia's most beautiful places.

Description

We will meet in the morning at the square of Pontevedra to travel to the walled city of Lugo, an hour's drive from La Coruña. First, a guided tour of Lugo's historic centre will last for an hour, where we'll explore its famous city walls and the cathedral of Santa Maria, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles.

Afterwards, we will visit Ribadeo, where we will walk through its streets and learn about the Galician migration to Latin America, reflected in its Indian houses.

We will then proceed to the beach of Las Catedrales, known for its stunning rock formations resembling the flying buttresses of Gothic cathedrals, as we walk along its fine white sand.

Finally, we will return to the bus for the journey back to La Coruña, completing the excursion after 9.5 hours.
