Description

We'll meet at the William Wallace statue in Aberdeen and embark on an adventure through Royal Deeside and Balmoral Castle. Our journey begins with a scenic drive to Balmoral Castle, the cherished fortress of the British royal family. En route, we'll admire the rugged landscape along the River Dee. Capture stunning photos before arriving at the castle, where we'll explore the Balmoral gardens, the grand ballroom, and enjoy the Aberdeenshire views.

Leaving Balmoral Castle, we'll traverse the Cairngorm National Park. Pause at the Gairnshields Bridge, a viaduct spanning the Gairn River. Visit the Victorian village of Ballater, where you can enjoy lunch at one of its cafes. Afterward, we will pass by the Cambus O'May Bridge and visit the Tomnavarie stone circle, a funerary monument with over 4500 years of history.

To conclude, we’ll visit The Queen's View in Tarland, an enchanting vista that captivated Queen Victoria. We'll return to Aberdeen after a total of seven and a half hours of sightseeing.
