Canyoning in Keltneyburn
Meet at your chosen time on Dunkeld Road in Aberfeldy and head to a wooded area of Keltneyburn, known for its wildflower meadow. Enter the forest and observe why this region is popular for canyoning. After an instructor's briefing, participants will get equipped with canyoning gear and begin the trek over rocks.
Using ropes and wearing helmets for safety, participants will descend rocks to reach a natural pool, where they will have ten minutes to swim and splash as a recovery from the adrenaline rush of rock climbing. The next challenge involves climbing rocks to jump from a height of 20 feet (6 metres).
After two hours of rock climbing, the activity concludes at the original meeting point.
