Ice climbing is a popular activity in Abisko, known as one of Sweden's premier locations for this sport. The area features a wide range of icefalls, suitable for both novices and experienced climbers. The stunning scenery of the Abisko Mountains and Lake Torneträsk enhances the ice climbing experience.

Initially, we will fit you with the necessary ice climbing equipment, which includes alpine boots, crampons, a harness, and a helmet. After being equipped, we will take a short drive to the icefall. Upon arrival, our guide will explain the basics of climbing vertical ice and demonstrate how to use the ice climbing crampons and ice axes.

During the climb, our guide will assist and support you as you scale the icefall, while you enjoy the spectacular arctic landscape. We will have opportunities to practice and enhance our skills on various sections of the icefall in this beautiful environment.
