The Louvre Abu Dhabi houses one of the most important pictorial and archaeological collections in the Middle East. The building is located on Saadiyat Island, an exclusive area of the Emirates capital.

The entrance ticket provides access to both the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, with no waiting in line. The archaeology rooms feature unique pieces from civilizations such as Egyptian and Sumerian, including vases, sculptures, sarcophagi, and furniture. In the painting rooms, notable works include 'Nature morte au cabas et à l'ail' and 'Le Bohémien' by Édouard Manet, 'Portrait of a Woman' by Pablo Picasso, and other important paintings by René Magritte and Yves Klein. Visitors will also enjoy panoramic views of the coast of Saadiyat.

Opening Hours

The Louvre Abu Dhabi is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 11 pm. The gallery and exhibitions close at 6:30 pm from Tuesday to Thursday and at 8:30 pm on Friday to Sunday. Timetable changes may occur.

Partial Closures

Starting September 17, 2025, roadworks will be conducted near the entrances for a period of 12 days, followed by three nights of additional work. During the first 12 days, the right-turn entrance will remain open while the left-turn entrance from the bridge side will be closed. The area will be marked with temporary signs, including two-way traffic signs. After the initial phase, additional work will occur from 11:30 pm to 6:30 am, after which all entrances will return to normal operation.

Children under 18 may enter the museum free of charge but must apply for a free pass at the ticket office.
