Ticket Details

Built in 1795, the Qasr Al Hosn Fort is the oldest structure in Abu Dhabi. It has served as the home of the ruling family, the seat of government, and the national archive over its history. This ticket allows you to visit the complex, which includes the 18th-century fortress and the palace annex from the 1930s. You'll also have access to its museum to learn more about its history and the key role the tower played in safeguarding maritime trade routes.

As you explore the exhibition, you'll see how Abu Dhabi transformed from a fishing and pearl farming settlement to a metropolis. Additionally, this ticket grants access to the craftsmen's house, where various traditional Emirati handicrafts can be admired.

Opening hours

Qasr Al Hosn is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm, except on Fridays when it opens from 2 pm to 8 pm. Please note that during the Al Hosn festival celebrations, from January 30 to February 4, 2025, Qasr Al Hosn will be open from 4 pm to 11 pm, with final admission at 10:30 pm.
